Growth - A Poem

There are a few things about myself that I've seen grow over the years.

My natural hair which has grown so much that it bounces back as I stretch it, the realization that some friendships grow too far apart, and the truth that others bounce back no matter have much they stretch away from their beginnings.

Growth; spiritual, mentally, physically, and curly, takes time to comb out the bad times, twist and protect the good, and trim away the bad.

Deep condition and silk wrap the relationships that are worth putting the time into, without ignoring the relationships that may take more work than others.

Growth does not come without a few knots and tangles. But the more you brush and comb through them, the more worthwhile they will be.

So grow, and grow, and grow
